1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45; Efficiency Medal, G.VI.R., Territorial (7347496. W.O.Cl.2. R. A. Cook. R.A.M.C.), the first four in named O.H.M.S. box of issue to 'Mr R. A. Cook, 35 Crockerton Rd, Upper Tooting, London SW17', the last in card box of issue, all with original ribbons.  nearly extremely fine 

R. A. Cook was Mentioned in Despatches for services in North West Europe including D Day (London Gazette 4 April 1946, refers); sold with original M.I.D. Certificate and envelope of transmittal, heavy (120g) Deco styled hallmarked (Birmingham 1939) silver cigarette case by James Walker, London, the exterior engine turned and the interior gilt, engraved with the recipient's initials, and an A4-sized hand-stitched crest of the R.A.M.C. upon a cream linen base, this framed.
