Edward Hurry was from Braintree Essex, and as a civilian he was a postman. He enlisted at the age of 37. He was reported missing on 31/8/1917 and confirmed P.O.W on 17/10/1917. On his release he arrived back in the UK on 13/1/1919 and was demobilised.
