The medals are correctly impressed to 12621 DVR. A. DUNFORD. R.E. Alex Dunford was attached to the 15th field company and saw his service on the western front. He would have served at many of the major battles including The Somme, and Passchendaele. His MIC confirms his service from 5/11/14.
Also included are tatty original documents relating to his discharge, and his application to the 'Old Contemptibles' association, and his birth certificate.
The clasp and rosette are original and the medals are mounted for wear on a bar. Very fine.
