Stephen Berry served with the 1st Battalion South Wales Borderers in France from 22 August 1914, and was Killed in Action almost exactly two months later on 21 October 1914. He is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Panel 22. Sold together with a small file of copied research and the original forwarding slip for the British War Medal; unusually his M.I.C. notes that the Victory Medal was returned, thus the awards offered here appear as his full entitlement.
