William III. Halfcrown. 1696
£375.00
First bust, large shield, early harp. Octavo to edge. This coin retains much mint bloom. There is haymarking to both sides, and a horizontal mark accross the neck running to the A of GRA which crosses over a vertical die flaw., which along with slight weakness to raised parts of the design may indicate that it was struck from old dies. Nevertheless, an excellent coin and good very fine.
