Obverse. A chained African kneeling with hands clasped and raised in supplication with legend: “AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER”.
Reverse. Two hands joined in friendship with legend: “MAY SLAVERY & OPPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD”.
