This medal is renamed in antiquity to 43642 Gunner J Griffin. 4th Battery 1st Brigade Lancashire Division Royal Artillery.
It has a fitted bar Burma 1885-87 and a loose fitted bar Burma 1887 - 89. Gunner Griffin appears on the medal role and is entitled to the medal and at least the first bar, so this is a genuine re-name and not a fantasy item.
