William Frederick Collins was an 18 ½ year old barman from Ealing when he attested in the Royal Artillery in March 1919. He served in Iraq with F Battery, Royal Horse Artillery and was discharged on 16 March 1939, re-enlisting in May to serve on the Anti Aircraft batteries at home. Only 164 Iraq medals were issued to the R.H.A. This group is sold together with copied research and a letter from the M.O.D. confirming Collins total entitlement including an Efficiency Medal This was awarded in 1946, listing his unit as 'Corps of Military Police', and is missing from the group.
