I purchased this from a country auction. The auctioneer told me that the seller was a private individual, and that this item was liberated from an officials desk in Germany in 1945. Like many of these wartime 'souvenirs' the provenance is impossible to verify, but the item has the appearance of age.
It bears no marks other than the number '24' on the base. Weight 204g. Very good condition.
