Charles I (1625-1649), Group 3, Type 3a1, Halfcrown, 1636-1638, Tower (under King), third horseman left, scarf flying from King's waist, rev. oval garnished shield, 15.04g [232.10grns], 6h, m.m. tun (Brooker 334-339; North 2209; S.2273), weak portrait with some flan stress, however an excellent reverse. toned with iridescence, fine - very fine, with old dealer/collector tickets.
