Henry VIII (1509-1547), Third Coinage, Halfgroat, 1544-1547, Bristol Mint, (Under-Treasurer, William Sharington),

Obv. Crowned bust three-quarters facing right, 

Rev. CIVITAS BRISTOLIE, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée,

1.207g, 11h, MM. WS (North 1851; S.2377), Struck in base silver, a nice flat example showing good detail, and the WS monogram on the reverse clear.  Cabinet toned, good fine.
