This excellent example has been slabbed and graded by NGC, as AU Details Rim Filing.
My comments: I would grade this coin as Near extremely fine/extremely fine. The 'Rim filing' appears to refer to the removal/tidying of excess metal from the minting process. This is hardly noticeable, but you can see evidence at the C in VICTORIA.
Whereas I think my grade is fair, the grade attributed by NGC is the one that will be recognised by customers and auction houses the world over.
