The Pobjoy Mint, on behalf of The British Aircraft Corporation, to commemorate the inaugural Flight of Concorde, issued this Silver Proof Crownmedal for the First flight from London to Singapore service in December 1977. Cased & Certificate FDC.
NB. The plastic capsules containing the coins were not airtight. They tend to age to a golden colour as pictured, and this also allows the coins to tone slightly. The obverse picture is with the capsule open.
