1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45; Army L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R. (6083192 W.O.CL.2. E. D. Hall. R.A.), mounted as worn with section of riband for a GSM, very fine.
Edward David Hall enlisted with the Queens West Surrey Regiment on 8.6.26. The L.S. & G.C. was issued in 1945, and details of his post war service showed that he served with a Heavy Anti Aircraft battery. He was discharged in December 1951.
As for the 'missing' GSM I have been unable to find a record for its issue, but bearing in mind his length of service it is very likely to be a genuine entitlement.
