Thomas Rudd was born 1875 in Ripon. He attested for the East Lancashire Fusiliers in 1892. He saw service in Gibraltar, India and Burma before returning home in 1908.
I have attached some copies of his service history (from Ancestry) which confirm his service for the campaign clasp, and also show that his visits to hospital were somewhat self inflicted. Nevertheless he is also entitled to an LS&GC issued in 1911.
