John George Storey Poole was born in March 1899 in Consett, Durham. He enlisted in April 1916 with the Royal Marine Light Infantry aged 17, and saw action in the near east aboard HMS Earl of Peterborough. He was Discharged/Invalided in 1919
The medals are fitted with replacement ribbons and are in good very fine condition.
