41503 GNR A(llen) Whittaker R.G.A/R.A saw service in WW1 from March 1915 in France, with the 8th siege battery. R.G.A. In 1918 he was hospitalised with Influenza. Also included is a brass bed/duty plate to 9967 A. Whittaker, Alexandra Princess of Wales own (Yorkshire) Regiment, which is likely to indicate pre war service. The medals are on original ribbons, as worn in VF condition.
